North Star has launched its latest product lineup, and among the numerous benefits, strength is a clear standout. The Sentinel™ line of entry doors offers high-quality steel, fiberglass and composite doors designed to offer maximum protection and safety in even the most extreme weather conditions.
The Sentinel™ Entry Door System holds an official North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS) designation of PG40, capable of resisting 246 km/h wind speeds—equivalent to a category 4 hurricane. The one-of-a-kind structurally-reinforced mull post allows the doors to withstand 70% more force and heavy stress loads. The line also features a high-performance sill, allowing for a water penetration pressure differential of 290pa.
The Sentinel™ Entry Door System includes:

- Non-leak joints
- Sleek top-to-bottom brickmould – eliminating exposed caulking
- Highly durable & weather-resistant composite frame
However, these doors aren’t just designed for strength. The lineup includes single- and double-swing doors and sidelite options, each available in a range of colours and finishes. They can also be customized further with glass options including Clear Low-E and privacy glass.
