The Edmonton Chapter is holding its annual chapter meeting online on Tuesday, September 15, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Members will have the opportunity to learn of the chapter’s initiatives and accomplishments of the past year, and meet the chapter executive for the 2020-2021 season. A zoom meeting invitation along with the agenda will be sent out to registrants on September 14.
The Edmonton Chapter will discuss provincial building administrator updates followed by a presentation on the changes to the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB) on Tuesday, March 10, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre.
CSC Edmonton is holding a presentation to discuss the architectural and design changes to the National Building Code of Canada – 2019 Alberta Edition [NBC(AE)]. This new edition replaces the 2014 Alberta Building Code (ABC) and is effective this year.
CSC Edmonton is hosting its annual golf tournament on Wednesday, June 26. The event will take place at the Sturgeon Valley Golf & Country Club from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The deadline to register is June 12.
On Thursday, March 7, the Edmonton Chapter will have a breakfast meeting from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre. Chris Fellows of Stonhard Construction Solutions will present on “Carbon Fibre: Quicker, Stronger, Lighter.”
The Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) will hold a “Single-ply Membrane Education Day” on February 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Members of the CSC Edmonton Chapter have been invited to this event.
