Construction company Olympic Projects Ltd. is looking for a Rehabilitation and Renovation Manager

Permanent, full-time position

Work Location: Various client sites across the Greater Vancouver Area, BC

WAGE: $38.50/hr

DUTIES & RESPONSOBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, oversee and manage residential renovation projects from conception to completion;
• Ensure that renovation projects are adequately staffed; recruit, hire, train and mentor employees and subcontractors according to needs;
• Develop work schedules and assign tasks;
• Effectively communicate with clients, architects and engineers regarding project plans and specifications; negotiate project revisions, changes and additions;
• Monitor and inspect subcontractors’ work to ensure quality and specifications are met;
• Develop health and safety plans for on-site emergencies;
• Ensure that residential renovation projects are staying under budget and completed on schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential renovation, including supervisory or project management experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Completion of high school. Relevant college or university degree would be an asset.
