Toronto’s only atrium-style lobby in the downtown core has been transformed into a contemporary town square. The hospitality-driven retreat is centered on wellness and inspired by Ontario’s natural landscape.

The Yonge Street entrance features seating around trees, with the reception entrance featuring grand wooden pillars.

Elevated on a wooden platform in the central lobby, surrounded by the original Terrazzo flooring, is a deck with custom-designed banquettes and communal tables.

The back of the atrium, adjacent to Berczy Park, includes more picnic tables and seating areas.

To create a sense of community and togetherness, the team at architecture firm DIALOG used modern cottage-style furniture and finishes.

The atrium offers a striking view upward, connecting the lobby to the eighth floor.

A 27.4-m (90-ft) vertical art feature by Montreal-based multimedia entertainment studio Gentilhomme runs through the spine of the building.
