Kalesnikoff, a wood product producer, recently opened North America’s first 9,290-m2 (100,000-sf) pre-fabrication and modular mass timber facility in Castlegar, B.C.

The new facility complements and adds new complementary products, including panelized wall and floor systems, prefabricated mass timber components, light frame trusses, volumetric modular offerings, and other products designed and manufactured for construction efficiency.

This expansion aligns with the Government of Canada and the Province of BC’s commitments to create skilled jobs and urgently build more affordable homes and other infrastructure using local mass timber.
