13 48 13 Manufactured Sound and Vibration Control Components
DeAmp Panels are suitable for building structures that have a high use of glass, concrete, or other
hard surfaces. The sound-absorbing panels can be attached directly to wall
surfaces, or in front of windows, pictures, or light sources.
The panels
are made from high-impact-resistant, high-transparency co-polyester, which
maintains clarity for years. Acoustic absorption is created from airflow
resistance through the micro slits in the panels; this is the foundation of its international and U.S. patents.
DeAmp Panels allow the
‘visual communication intent’ of glass partition walls in conference rooms or
open offices to be maintained while preventing room reverberation from
interfering with intelligible speech. When used in front of any other
hard surface, such as concrete or drywall, they produce the same effect–the acoustical treatment simply disappears,
and allows the background material to tell the architectural story.
DeAmp Panel options
include: edge or backlighting, transparent through to opaque, graphic printing, and
Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) compliance.
