Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Estimate costs and materials
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
• Install sheet metal flashings
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Install, repair or replace shingle, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

• Travel time in excess of 45 minutes to get to the job site is paid at a regular wage
