Title of the position: Roofing Technician (NOC 75110)

Job Duties:

Responsible for addressing areas on the roof that need attention.

Cleaning and addressing all roofing drains/evestrough systems, etc.

Installing all seam tape applied areas on roofs that the job description calls for.

Installing all trowel grade rubber products together with fellow co-workers and general labourer positioned employees to the perimeter of roofing repairs or sections, including all protrusions or rooftop drains that need more attention or service work areas with identified concerns.

Installing the recommended products where suggested by the leadman, foreman, superintendent or management.

Responsible for ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely manner while following the applicable Ontario Safety Regulations.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

The language of work: English.

Wage: $36 per hour.

Skills requirements:

Required Education.

Working at Heights certification.

Ontario Safety Regulations. Fall Arrest. Fall Protection qualifications.

Completion of Secondary School is preferred.

Required work experience and skills:

Substantial relevant work experience.

Substantial experience working at heights.

Working with specialty fluid applied products

Service work.

Safety training.

Training through product installation.

A reasonable level of physical fitness.

Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.

Proficient at working either alone or as a part of a team.
