Carleton University’s Canal Academic Building in Ottawa was created to meet Green Globes certification requirements. Designed jointly by Moriayama and Teshima Architecture and Griffiths Rankin Cook Architecture, the structure includes a vegetated roof, a living green wall, and solar panels. Photo © Tom Arban
