Participants will gain an understanding of the key considerations when planning,  specifying and installing tile in submerged applications, including selection and use of waterproofing membranes, mortars and grouts. The session will include a review of critical construction details, including movement joints, and highlight common causes of failure and how to prevent them.

Robert Ousey Sales Representative, Mapei

Robert Ousey is a Sales Representative who has been with MAPEI since 2019, operating out of British Columbia. Robert began his flooring career in 2003 as a Floor Coverings Installer and was a Red Seal Certified Journeyman for 16 years. Robert specialized in institutional and commercial resilient flooring, and also has served as a technical representative specializing in MAPEI’s TSIS, FCIS and Mapeheat product lines.
