Job details:

Salary: $32.00 to $36.60 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years minimum of professional experience or a combination of professional education and related experience

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty

Work setting: Construction / Various locations / Commercial

Tasks:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

• Instruct apprentices

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling / Combination of sitting, standing, walking / Handling heavy loads / Physically demanding

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
