BASIN Glacial Waters, the consciously designed, all-sensory thermal bathing destination that is set to revolutionize wellness as a “Fairmont first,” is now officially open in Lake Louise, Alta.

BASIN Glacial Waters converges natural elements with contemporary wellness, interpreted through a luxury lens. It draws inspiration from the healing benefits of thermal waters and the long-established wellness practices of Nordic sauna culture, reimagined through a modern wellness perspective.

Guests can immerse themselves in a self-paced, non-prescriptive wellness experience between diverse temperatures and varying heat and humidity levels in traditional Finnish, Bio, and Aufguss saunas, as well as steam room cabins.

For contrast bathing, a series of indoor-outdoor pools is available, including the impressive reflexology pool with uninterrupted glacier views, and the Infinity Pool, which spans onto the expansive terrace, offering a dedicated space for open-air relaxation. For quiet relaxation and meditation, there are the “Hot Stone” and “Silent Salt Relax” rooms.
