DELTA® Barriers Boost Design Flexibility with 25% More Exposure
Recent testing of DELTA® air- and water-resistive barriers has opened up creative possibilities for
architects. Now, more DELTA®-FASSADE S and DELTA®-FASSADE SA surfaces can be exposed in open-joint cladding systems, proving them to be more durable than ever.
For architects, more durability gives confidence that projects won’t be compromised during construction
while protecting a structure’s exterior aesthetic. It also provides higher performance and reliability for
contractors while meeting and exceeding building codes.
Specifically, the DELTA®-FASSADE S and DELTA®-FASSADE SA can now cover 50 per cent of an open-joint
cladding facade, a 25 per cent increase from the previous limit of 40 per cent. With the increased allowed exposure, these barriers provide architects with more design flexibility, enhanced product performance, and added reliability.
