This drawing, taken from International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) Evaluation Report ESR-1765, shows cross-sections of a manufactured multi-bend header system. From left to right, there is a multi-bend header, multi-bend stiffening insert, header with insert in place, and a mating attachment clip. Two clips are installed first, then the multi-bend header snaps into place around them, the stiffening insert is added (if required), and the header assembly is secured with screws.
