We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team as Masons. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, this is your chance to make a mark in the world of construction.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, shoot elevations, and provide layouts
• Prepare and lay bricks, stone, structural tiles and similar materials to construct or repair structures
• Measuring out build areas and setting out the first rows of bricks and damp course
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
• Mix specific amounts of sand, cement, lime, and water for mortar or refractory mixtures
• Verify the vertical and horizontal elevation of a structure
• Lift, move, and work with heavy tools and materials such as cement bags, CMU blocks, bricks and stones
• Coordinate activities to be accomplished during the week. Work with a crew throughout the week to ensure successful completion
• Lead, help, and direct apprentice labourers

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 4 years of bricklaying experience or a combination of experience and training courses in related trade or industry

Your Skills:

• Able read to sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
• Ability to work in diverse settings to produce steady and functional products
• Skilled masonry labourer
• Skilled block and bricklayer
• Physical demanding––Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
• Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
