Platinum Concrete Inc. is looking to hire Concrete finishers
Greater Vancouver area, BC.

Wage: $31.25 per hour + health and dental benefits
Permanent, full-time position.

Education: Secondary school
Skills requirements:

• 1-2 years of work experience in the trade or completion of an apprenticeship program;
• Good English.

Main duties:

• Setting and aligning forms to hold the concrete in place; cleaning and inspecting surfaces for concrete pouring;
• Directing the casting of the concrete;
• Operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted;
• Spreading, leveling and smoothing concrete surfaces according to grade and depth specifications;
• Installing fixtures in the freshly poured concrete as per blueprints and specifications;
• Applying sealing, hardening and waterproofing components to treat the concrete surfaces;
• Repairing or replacing damaged sections of concrete structures, such as floors, walls, roads, etc.
