On Thursday, February 16, the Hamilton/Niagara Chapter of CSC is hosting a luncheon discussion on the specification of cellular polyvinyl chloride (PVC) trim for exterior and moisture-related applications. Led by John D. Pace, PE, and Matt Rossi (Versatex), the session examines this low-maintenance alternative to wood in terms of its manufacturing and its uses. The event takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion (828 Legion Rd.), in Burlington, Ont. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation ending by 2 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, payable at the door. (ATM onsite or cheques payable to CSC Hamilton/Niagara Chapter.)
