The Canada Green Building Council's (CaGBC's) 2010 National Conference is fast approaching with a registration deadline for early-bird pricing of April 16. The conference—"Performance Matters"—will take place from June 8 through 10 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. It will bring together more than 1300 architects, engineers, product manufacturers, developers, academics, and project owners to discuss the state of environmentally responsible design, construction, and building operations. The event allows delegates from across the built environment to discuss the most current information on green strategies, technologies, and issues. For the next week, early-bird pricing (including tax) is $525 for members and $787.50 for non-members. After that, prices will rise to $630 for members and $945 for non-members. This is for the full delegate pass, which includes all conference events on June 9 and 10 (educational sessions, exhibit hall, welcome reception, gala reception, and gala dinner). The breakdown of events can be found on the website and purchased separately—early-bird pricing does not apply to these. There are also a number of workshops and technical site tours available on June 8. These are in addition to the full delegate pass. More information about registering will be available on the website soon.
