| No Frills Show returns to Toronto in March |
|
The No Frills Trade Show, the CSC Toronto Chapter's flagship event, will be celebrating its 32nd year on March 8. The annual gathering allows design/construction professionals to attend a one-day convention/exhibit hall, with representatives from building product manufacturers from across MasterFormat's divisions. A centralized networking area will help facilitate discussion among those present. Like last year, there will also be the CSC Lecture Series, which brings one-hour technical lectures to the show floor, dealing with subjects ranging from building information modelling (BIM) to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). A special session on specification writing will also be held to help introduce students to the profession. For more information on exhibiting or attending, visit www.csctradeshow.com. The website also contains information on the show's history, a floor plan, and details on the luncheon with guest speaker, Christopher Hume—the architecture critic and urban issues columnist of the Toronto Star.
