Dessau, one of the country's largest consulting engineering firms, has been recognized by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for excellence in the design of a healthcare facility's HVAC system.

Last month, Dessau was awarded ASHRAE's 2008 Technology Award in Healthcare Facilities-Existing Building for its rehabilitation work at the Honoré-Mercier Hospital in Saint-Hyacinthe, Que. The project was rated on criteria such as efficiency, air quality, ease of operation, and contribution to profitability.

“This prestigious recognition is a fitting tribute to our team's efforts,” said Dessau CEO, Jean-Pierre Sauriol. “They work tirelessly to build innovative, high-performance mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable development.”
