Design/construction professionals looking to learn, network, have a good time, and help guide the future of CSC can now register for the association's national conference in Saskatoon. Next year, the annual event is entitled "Bridge to the Future"—a fitting theme for the Bridge City and its seven river crossings.

CSC Conference 2010 will be held from May 26–30, 2010 at the Delta Bessborough. While the program is still being finalized, there will be the usual Connections Café and technical sessions ranging from explorations of automation and building information modelling (BIM) to fire protection and industry economic forecasts. The keynote luncheon, sponsored by Dow Building Solutions, features motivational speaker Alvin Law; the annual CGC Fun Night, meanwhile, will transport conference attendees to Champêtre County to experience a new kind of old-time prairie hospitality via hayrides, antique photos, and labyrinths.
