Wall sealant discussion with CSC Hamilton/Niagara

CSC's Hamilton/Niagara Chapter is presenting the seminar, "Troubleshooting Sealant Applications in Wall Systems," next month.

On November 19, Matt Rogers (May National/Bondaflex) will examine existing and new wall designs to demonstrate sealants' roles in the performance of the assembly and its components. Through a review of rainscreen and pressure equalization concepts, participants will learn how to co-ordinate proper execution of the sealant and adhesive details between trades. Rogers also stresses the importance of onsite quality control and local code compliance.

The $25 event kicks off with lunch at the Royal Canadian Legion (828 Legion Road) in Burlington, Ont., at 11:30 a.m. It qualifies for Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) self-directed hours.
