Cassie Campbell Community Centre wins big in Brampton

The best of Brampton: Cassie Campbell Community Centre was the top winner at the Brampton Urban Design Awards.

Shore Tilbe Irwin & Partners' Cassie Campbell Community Centre swept the Brampton Urban Design Awards, earning three out of 18 nods. In addition to being named the Best Overall Public Building, the 15,300-m2 (165,000-sf) facility won an Award of Excellence and the coveted People's Choice Award.

Fifteen other design and architecture projects were recognized for innovation in the Ontario city at an awards ceremony held on September 30.

With two indoor ice rinks, aquatics and fitness centres, and an indoor running track, it is no surprise Cassie Campbell Community Centre is a Brampton favourite.
