The specifications-writing standard for North American non-residential building design and construction has just been made more accessible. MasterFormat, produced by Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), will now be available at a reduced price for members and non-members.

The 50-division listing of titles and section numbers was updated in 2004 to better organize information needed to facilitate communication between members of the project team. It now costs CSC members $50 and will be $75 for those unaffiliated with the organization.
