Drywall application seminar to be held in Golden Horseshoe

On Thursday, April 16, a lunchtime seminar in Burlington, Ont., will explore the merits of fibreglass-mat-faced wallboard technology with respect to moisture protection. The speaker, Chris Davidson, CTR, has more than a decade of experience in the gypsum industry. His talk focuses on how proper application of fibreglass-mat-faced wallboard can limit an architectural firm's liability, compress construction schedules, reduce costly remediation, and help build a more sustainable building.

The lunchtime seminar, presented by Construction Specifications Canada's (CSC's) Hamilton/Niagara Chapter, qualifies for Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) self-directed hours. It takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion at 828 Legion Road. Registration ($25) begins at 11:30 a.m., with lunch at noon and the one-hour presentation following at 12:45 p.m. For more information, contact Terry Johnson, FCSC, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
